What is a short link?

A short link is a compact URL that redirects anyone who clicks it to a longer destination address. Instead of sharing a 200-character link, you share something like tapurl.io/xK3mP9q.

Every click is tracked — you see who clicked, from which country, on which device, and through which channel.

Create your first link

You can create a link without registering — just paste a URL on the home page and click Shorten.

Paste your long URL into the input field
Click «Shorten» — the short link is created instantly
Copy the result or scan the QR code

Guest links expire after 24 hours. Sign up to keep your links forever and access full analytics.

Projects

Projects are folders for grouping related links — for example one project per advertising campaign or client.

Each project has its own QR settings, webhook URL and analytics. You can create up to 3 projects on the free plan.

Open Dashboard → My Projects
Click «New project», enter a name and description
Add links to the project from the project page

Guest links

If you create a link without signing in, it is stored as a guest link for 24 hours. After that it is automatically deleted.

Guest links cannot be edited, do not have full analytics, and expire in 24 hours. Sign up to unlock all features.
